To contribute effective marketing and sales strategies in order to identify and successfully engage with Companies by selling consultancy and training services through ethical sales methods

  • To act as a first point of contact and build relationships that lead to business opportunities
  • To undertake focused discussions to identify and address client and potential client requirements and to overcome objections and barriers for implementation
  • To attain and exceed specific targets appropriate with the company objectives and stakeholder requirements

Key Responsibilities – Role

  • To achieve contractual and personal targets through telephone engagement
  • To promote full range of services to clients through need identification demonstrating excellent working knowledge of the various services we offer
  • To maintain a database of current and potential future clients through telesales, email, mailshots and other marketing initiatives
  • To manage the diary of the Key Account Director and to book client visits as required
  • To ensure all documentation is completed accurately
  • To identify the needs of stakeholders through one-to-one telephone interviews
  • To use varied selling techniques to engage and stimulate both individuals and client groups and increase client retention
  • To work with colleagues to assist clients’ progression towards additional business opportunities

Essential Core Skills and Experience

  • Professional interpersonal skills, able to communicate equally well verbally and in writing, with people at all levels. Able to encourage, inspire and motivate colleagues, clients and potential clients alike
  • Able to use initiative and demonstrate a flexible approach
  • To maintain awareness and knowledge of market/sector developments and to pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role
  • Robust influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to guide telephone calls to deliver optimum value
  • The role requires:
  • Demonstrable skills to win new business in the consultancy and training industry through effective telesales
  • A working knowledge of corporate client management
  • Self-driven, results and target orientated with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly competent computer skills
  • Ability to prioritise key tasks, as well as the flexibility to adapt to changing demands in a fast moving and complex business environment
  • Strong written and verbal skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet time deadlines, often under extreme pressure
