This global leader who have been around for almost a century are looking to expand their sales team and are currently recruiting for an experienced Sales Engineer. Your duties will be to promote and market specialist machinery products to the UK market. The products and projects you will be working on are large scale and key pieces of machinery that keeps the UK moving every day. This is an exciting role with a great and essential product!


Duties and Responsibilities of a Sales Engineer will include:


Promote and market machinery products to the relevant marketplace

Identify new sales opportunities

Demonstrating and training of machine products

Attending trade shows and events

Writing and submit technical tenders

Ensuring the sales process is followed and seen through to completion

Essential requirements of a Sales Engineer will include:


Previous experience in working in a sales role promoting technical machinery and service offerings

Ability to build strong client relationships

Ability to follow a sales process which could last several years

Strong tender writing skills

Ability to travel UK wide as required

Role could suit someone from the plant hire industry, heavy duty machinery or machinery used in a maintenance capacity
